![]() The Director of Clinical Training reports to the VP of Clinical Services & Technologies, and collaborates closely with team members from Global Program, Cybersight, Country Offices, Flying Eye Hospital, Research, and connects regularly with Orbis employees in other units including Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, Communications, & Development. ![]() This is a global role, remote or assigned to an established Orbis location. The Director, Clinical Training adapts new clinical training strategies, resources, and technologies for use in Orbis clinical projects and country programming and leads and supports proposals and plans and guides the deployment of training resources including Flying Eye Hospital (FEH), Hospital Based Training (HBT), Fellowships, Cybersight, and Volunteer Faculty (VF). Its programs focus on the prevention of blindness and the treatment of blinding eye diseases in developing countries through hands-on training, public health education, advocacy and local partnerships.Īs a member of the Clinical Services & Technologies team, the Director, Clinical Training leads Orbis International’s (OI) efforts to strengthen and deliver high-quality training in clinical education and align strategic partnerships to support our global training portfolio.
